On the afternoon of 11 January, the Steering Committee of the Conference of Presidents of the Outermost Regions (CPRUP) held a bilateral meeting with the European Commission’s ORs Unit, during which, among other matters, the programme of the Canary Islands Presidency of the CPRUP was presented and the next steps to be taken with regard to the implementation of the EU strategy for the ORs were addressed.
