The Conference of Presidents of the Outermost Regions will meet next on 3 May, on the eve of the General Affairs Council of May 17, under the Portuguese EU Council Presidency, with the aim of approving a joint Declaration by the Presidents of the ORs for the General Affairs Council.
The event, which will take place in a virtual format, will include an internal session of the Presidents of the outermost regions, as well as a session of the Presidents with the European Commission and the Member States of the outermost regions, which will be attended by the European Commissioner for Cohesion and Reform, Elisa Ferreira, and the Secretaries of State for European Affairs of Portugal, Spain and France.
