The European Week of Regions and Cities is a four-day annual event in which cities and regions have a platform to discuss and exchange on local and regional development in a wide range of topics. It will take place in Brussels, from October 7 to October 10.
This year, the Regio Week will focus on the following themes:
– The future of the EU and the role of the regions and cities
– A Europe closer to citizens
– A greener Europe
– A smarter Europe
– A more connected Europe: mobility
– A more socially integrated Europe
As part of the Regio week and in partnership with the European Commission (DG REGIO), a workshop on innovation value chains in the outermost regions will take place on October 9 from 16.30 to 18.30.
