On 20 and 21 June, taking advantage of the Outermost Regions Working Group, the sixth meeting of the Monitoring Committee of the Conference of Presidents of the Outermost Regions, chaired by the Canary Islands, was held on-site at the Canary Islands Government Delegation in Brussels. As part of the agenda, together with the promotion of common actions, a meeting was held with the REPER Councillors from the 3 Member States to exchange points of view on the objectives to be achieved jointly during the remaining period of the Canary Islands Presidency of the OR Conference, paying special attention to the opportunities opened up by the forthcoming Spanish Presidency of the Council and the specific OR activities proposed during the Conference, both by the Conference and the Spanish Government.
