On Tuesday 20 June, the third hybrid meeting in the current year of the “Outermost Regions” working group was held, organised by the ORs Unit of DG REGIO in the framework of the Commission’s enhanced partnership with the ORs. The nine ORs and their respective Member States, Spain, France and Portugal, took part in the meeting, which addressed the opportunities offered by the various EU programmes (LIFE, I3 calls, S3 Community of Practice), different funding instruments and the trade negotiations state of play, among other issues.
