The 24th Conference of the Presidents of the ORs was held in Saint Martin from February 5 to 8 2020, an important meeting at a time when negotiations on the next Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) are entering the final phases.

This meeting brought together all the ORs and their representatives, but also those of the European Commission, the European Parliament and respective member States. On this occasion, the ORs adopted the Final Declaration of this 24th CPRUP in which they recall the necessary full application of article 349 of the TFEU in the current reform of European policies for the post 2020 period, in order to guarantee the adoption of regulatory and budgetary measures to be strengthened and adapted for ORs. They also reiterated their commitment to continue the work undertaken in close collaboration with the European institutions, within the framework of a strengthened partnership.

The Conference ended with the handover of the presidency to Mayotte who will chair until November 27, 2020.
