In response to this public consultation launched by the European Commission, the ORs presented a joint contribution recalling their specific constraints, recognized in Article 349 TFEU, as well as their lack of accessibility, which constitutes a significant obstacle to the principle of the free movement of persons, goods, services and capital.

This document highlights the need to foster a true integration of the outermost regions in the TEN-T, and to promote a framework that is truly adapted to the specific needs and realities of our regions.
